Tiki Bomb Clothing Co. — Berlin, Germany

1. Client Situation

Tiki Bomb is a Berlin-based indie brand selling upcycled tropical shirts and politically ambivalent leisurewear. Their designs scream “holiday” but whisper “resistance.” They needed a campaign poster for their spring capsule drop — something explosive but elegant, retro but sharp, tropical but mildly unhinged.

2. Our Intervention

Glyphhaus fused vintage poster aesthetics with protest visual language. We delivered a punchy focal image (hand grenade + pineapple), built layered typography with anti-authoritarian flavor, and composed the layout for both screen and risograph print. Vela provided slogan tone calibration, Greeblin structured the info hierarchy, and Nome unearthed old surf zine scans that helped shape the design edge.

3. The Glyphs & Glitches - A2 Poster (Print + Web)

Promo Poster:
Explosive without shouting — a balance of tension and vacation.

Print Detail Closeup:Grain, misregistration, and ink bleed embraced as texture, not error.


Typography Lockup:
Sunburned type with protest poster DNA — tiki meets dissent.

4. Tools & Tech

Illustrator / Obsidian / GPT-4 / a huge box of vegan products

5. Impact

All 200 limited-edition posters sold out within 72 hours — mostly to confused art students and one very stylish grandma.
