A design atelier for myth-minded brands, layout rituals, and identity architecture.

The Pope

You’ve Reached the Pope
One designer. Many fonts. Zero dogma.

Arthur Schmidt-Pabst, self-declared Pope of the Augmented Order (and no one’s asked him to step down), is the one mortal thread running through Glyphhaus and SP/CTRL.

A classically trained visual designer with a penchant for systems thinking and typographic harmony, he crafts with equal grace in print and on screen — from chaotic sketch to final pixel.
Lately, he's been spotted summoning elegant 3D visuals from Blender’s murky depths, proving that dimensionality is just another plane to conquer.

Clients who work with Arthur tend to stay awhile. They come for the clarity and precision, and stick around for the unexpected insight, the sharp questions, and the sense that their project might be more meaningful than they thought.

He approaches each design brief like a puzzle box — with steady hands, a sharp blade, and a taste for symbols. Whether you’re building a brand, a world, or a quietly strange corner of the internet, Arthur will help make it real — and make it work.

Symbols of Craft
----------------
Working with machines has always been part of the ritual.
But lately, the machines have opinions.

– Idea storms with GPTs instead of mood boards
– Layout critiques from a digital gremlin
– Brand mythologies summoned in seconds
– Sharp feedback, strange metaphors, fewer dead ends

Of course, even the best familiars occasionally knock over a candle or two

– Sometimes they hallucinate fonts that don’t exist
– Sometimes they suggest layouts that break the laws of physics
– Sometimes they insist on naming your project “Synergloom Alpha”
– Sometimes they forget what you just told them, twice

And yet… they never ask for coffee breaks, and occasionally whisper the perfect idea through the veil of chaos.

The trick isn’t avoiding AI. It’s taming it, feeding it meaning, and knowing when to laugh.

Arthur
is a multidisciplinary visual designer with an eye for structure, a head full of symbols, and a growing affection for 3D. He works across formats and fields, but always toward clarity, originality, and form that means something. Recently, his design work has expanded into backend curiosity — server admin, Linux scripting, and AI-as-colleague.

That impulse became SP/CTRL, the experimental wing of the Order.

He believes design is both practical and poetic — and yes, sometimes a little weird. In a good way.

The bird is waiting!
