Project
Whetstone
A public philosophy demo for testing claims, sharpening judgment, and resisting confident but weak AI output.
Status: Work in progress. The concept and interface can be shown; a complete public demo will follow later.
Whetstone is the philosophy-facing part of the teaching front door. It is designed for people who are curious about AI but skeptical of systems that reward speed, fluency, and certainty more than careful judgment.
The HITM question
How can an interface help a person challenge an answer instead of simply accepting a polished response?
Current focus
- Claims that remain inspectable
- Prompts for counter-evidence and uncertainty
- Visible human evaluation
- A useful negative result when a claim does not hold up
Next milestone
A contained public interaction that makes the stance tangible without pretending skepticism can be automated away.
